The solution will enable students to experience a frictionless, safer and contactless journey when attending classes at the university. Wavetec solution will monitor and manage occupancy limits of rooms providing a safe learning environment at the university amid the Covid-19 pandemic and beyond.
By placing a QR code poster at various entrances of the university and rooms, students with smartphones will be able to scan the QR code and obtain a virtual ticket. Students will also be able to obtain a virtual ticket via WhatsApp. Students can comfortably wait at a socially distant location and can even view their progress in the queue. Once a ticket is obtained, students are also notified with real time notifications about their position in the queue.
The lobby leader application allows a member of the staff to control occupancy limits on a tablet. The application gives the staff the visibility to:
- track of no of students inside the rooms
- check-in or out any student
- call any student on priority
- manually issue tickets to students
- open and close queue
