Tadawul wanted to develop a modern, media-friendly press room that would be primarily designed to hold press conferences, media events and seminars, and to receive corporate guests to enhance Tadawul’s image as the world’s leading stock exchange. region. After conducting a comprehensive analysis of Tadawul’s requirements and a few meetings between Wavetec’s consultants and Tadawul’s management, Wavetec proposed to them an integrated and comprehensive solution. Wavetec’s goal was to help Tadawul create a people-friendly, technology-driven “media room” that would enhance the brand image of the exchange in line with the strategy of strengthening Tadawul’s position as the preferred stock exchange in the region. The new media room now features two large full-color LED information displays. These screens display live stock data, market statistics, graphical trends, and other relevant financial information. A seamless network-based plasma solution consisting of nine 42-inch plasma screens was developed to play live TV and news content. In addition to all this, two information bars have been deployed that scroll seamlessly within the media room to display real-time trading data and live market statistics.

Two large, full-color information display walls were installed on the main stage in the Media Room, serving as part of a stunning backdrop during press conferences and events. A seamless high-resolution (3×3) plasma display screen is installed between the two LED display walls. A 32-metre-long strip sits above the LED and plasma display walls. It also covers all three sides of the media room wall, passing market information in full color, creating an exciting, information-driven environment. The media room clock bar is located in the middle, above the plasma screens and below the 32-metre-long bar. Riyadh Standard Time (RST) is shown on the left, the current date in the middle, and a negative clock that counts down the closing time of the Tadawul stock market. “It’s done!” The media room of the Tadawul Stock Exchange was uniquely designed to highlight its prestigious position as the number one financial market in the Gulf region. Tadawul Securities screens showed animated company logos along with its ticker information – a first of its kind in the Gulf region. Wavetec improved the physical website by adding Dynamic 360 degree view with live streaming of TIP trading prices across the media room. The entire solution has been specially designed to conform to the complex curvatures of the media room.
