Wavetec enhanced the management of existing Linear Queue Management System UNO-QS by introducing Sensors, which helps brick & mortar stores to optimize the utilization of the checkouts, decreasing downtime and therefore reducing client waiting time as well as drastically improving single line queuing experience leading towards higher customer satisfaction and fewer walkaways.
Installation of a Q-Sensor at the head of the queue enables automatic detection of the customer waiting in the queue and with the help of Q-Sensors at each checkout, automatic generation of an alert to the next customer thus eliminating the hassle of physically pressing the button ‘NEXT’ on the traditional system by the cashier.
The drawback that the teller calls the next customer at his own convenient time and the customer waiting in the queue to be served till that time has been resolved by inclusion of these Sensors to our UNO-Q Management System thus eliminating the dependency of manual calling to the customers replaced by an automatic call to the next customer.
Moreover, the Q-Sensors at each check-out can be integrated with other peripherals such as the calling light or display unit at each check-out or with calling button handsets in case the management decides to switch the system or the check out into a manual calling for any mode instead of an automatic call to the customer through UNO-QS.
