WAVETEC is proud to announce its participation as main Technology sponsor for this year in “African Banker Awards 2014.” Wavetec will be presenting “Retail Banker of the Year” award category in Kigali, Rwanda on May 21, 2014. This event has been taking place every year since the last 7 years, with an expected 400 participants from Top African Banks and other global financial institutions.

Over the past few years Banks in Africa are focusing more on improving their customer experience while in their branches. We have worked with some of the major banks in Africa to improve the Customer Experience at their branches by installing our Queue Management System and Digital Signage. We believe this is a great opportunity to show our appreciation and commitment for a long term relationship.

With such a high profile audience, this prestigious evening will kick off at 6 p.m. with a cocktail session, an ideal networking opportunity for all the delegates. The opening of the award ceremony will start around 7 p.m. where a total of 14 awards will be given out to various award winning African Banks, ministers, government officials and businessmen. WAVETEC ‘s General Manager for AFRICA SADIQ Hassan as well Tobias Bessone, the GM from Dubai will be at the event, to meet the guests.
